The City of Bremerton is seeking to fill the position of Utilities Service Specialist - Compliance in the City’s Department of Public Works & Utilities. Once established, this register is valid for six (6) months, and future open positions will be filled using this register.

GENERAL FUNCTION
Under general direction of the Utilities Compliance Specialist, independently performs field inspections and inventories of private and public stormwater systems and fats, oils, and grease (FOG) control structures to support compliance with applicable permit and municipal code requirements. Communicates required maintenance to responsible parties; provides education and guidance to promote Bremerton Municipal Code compliance; and enters and updates system information in GIS and related maintenance programs.
The hiring range for this position is: $34.19 - $41.86 per hour. This salary includes longevity (1% earned after five years and increases to a maximum of 4% after 20 years). Additionally, a 3.8% cost of living increase has been approved for 2027.
