GENERAL FUNCTION
Under limited supervision, responsible for planning, designing, installing, and maintenance and repair of electrical distribution systems, process control, motor control, pump control, motor control systems, generators, and boilers, Responsible for maintaining and repairing all electrical equipment throughout city facilities including but not limited to building, wastewater treatment plants (WWTP and ESTP), remote lift stations, odor control stations, water, SCADA fiber optic cable, security systems, traffic signals, street lighting, fire alarm systems, city vehicles, police vehicles, and fire vehicles.
The hiring range for this position is: $39.19 - $48.09 per hour (DOQ). This salary includes longevity (1% earned after five years and increases to a maximum of 4% after 20 years). Additionally, a cost of living adjustment of 2.70% has been approved for 2026.
