The City of Bremerton is accepting applications for the position of Automotive Equipment Technician in anticipation of a vacancy that may occur within the next 12 months. While there is currently no open position, we are conducting this recruitment to establish an eligible register of qualified candidates who may be considered once a vacancy arises. GENERAL FUNCTION
Maintain, repair and/or rebuild all gas/diesel powered equipment owned and operated by the City of Bremerton. This includes, but is not limited to, police, fire and some marine vehicles. Equipment ranges from light to heavy duty.
The hiring range for this position is: $35.16 - $42.99 per hour (DOQ). This salary includes longevity (1% earned after five years and increases to a maximum of 4% after 20 years).
