GENERAL FUNCTION
Reporting to the Utility Manager, the Stormwater Program Manager leads, administers, and manages the City’s Stormwater Program. Responsibilities include implementation of the City’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II Municipal Permit to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to environmental best practices. The position serves as the City’s liaison with the Department of Ecology on all stormwater and permit-related matters and coordinates cross-departmental efforts to support permit requirements and program goals. Responsibilities also include developing policies and programs and providing guidance to management and staff to ensure City operations align with stormwater compliance standards.
The hiring range for this position is: $111,511.44 - $135,865.92 annually (DOQ).

Employer contributions to the State Retirement System pension plan; 15 days of paid vacation per year front loaded and pro-rated based on hire date (increases to a maximum of 25 days per year after five years); 11 paid holidays per year; one paid floating holiday of your choice per year; 12 days of paid sick leave; 4% deferred compensation ($185.85 - $226.44 semi-monthly) in addition to salary; wellness program; employee assistance program; and medical, dental and vision coverage.
