POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of new customers across Learning.com’s market segments. This role involves customizing and adapting brand messaging and content strategies to attract new customers, increasing conversions, attending events to promote the company’s offerings, and collaborating with Sales to create and execute effective marketing plans. The focus will be on generating leads, building brand awareness, and converting prospects into customers while aligning to brand standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Strategy and Implementation
- Tailor and implement segment marketing strategies to attract new customers, aligning with the company’s growth plans.
- Customize and adapt brand messaging and content strategies to suit segment audiences to drive conversion.
- Attend events to promote the company’s products and services, generating leads and building brand awareness.
- Collaborate with Sales to identify and prioritize high-value accounts that align with the company’s business goals and have potential for significant revenue.
- Conduct research to understand the target accounts’ needs, pain points & challenges.
- Work closely with Sales to ensure that efforts are synchronized and joint strategies to nurture and convert accounts are implemented.
- Collaboration and Support
- Collaborate with Sales to create and provide marketing materials that support new customer acquisition efforts.
- Work closely with Product Development to incorporate up-to-date product insights into segment marketing strategies.
- Partner with other members of the Marketing team to ensure consistent brand & strategic alignment.
- Participate in promotional activities, trade shows, and events focused on new customer acquisition.
- Represent the company at events, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand presence.
- Market Research and Analysis
- Collaborate with market research to understand segment & market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape related to new customer acquisition.
- Interpret market research findings to inform new customer marketing strategies and tactics.
- Consistently utilize marketing tools and technologies that allow the Leanring.com Marketing and Data teams to remain well-informed of effective customer acquisition strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in marketing for new customer acquisition.
- Ensure that marketing activities and materials for new customer acquisition are up-to-date and consistent with the national brand while being tailored to regional needs.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of representing the company consistently and professionally through in-person events and digital communications.
- Experience in coordinating and managing promotional activities and events aimed at new customer acquisition.
- Market Research and Analysis
- Expertise in interpreting market research to inform marketing strategies that increase new customer acquisition and market penetration.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in marketing, with a focus on new customer acquisition.
- Proven track record of successfully customizing and adapting marketing strategies to attract new customers.
- Experience effectively presenting to large audiences, both in-person and online.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices in data management.
- Experience working in the education technology industry is a plus.
- Experience using Marketing and Sales automation tools to execute, monitor & improve campaign performance.
- Knowledge, experience and an overall curiosity leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) for optimization of business practices
Reports to: Senior Brand Manager
Department: Marketing
Supervisory Responsibilities: Individual Contributor
Salary Range: $85,000+ commensurate with experience and qualifications.
