The City of Bremerton is seeking to fill the position of Asset manager in the Finance Department.

GENERAL FUNCTION

Under general direction of the Director of Financial Services establishes and manages the City of Bremerton’s Asset Management Program for all City assets; the program goal is to use data to make informed decisions related to maintenance and replacement of critical and expensive infrastructure to optimize performance, minimize costs, and make appropriate investments to meet all current and future needs.

The Asset Manager will lead an interdepartmental team tasked to plan, develop, implement and maintain the City’s Asset Management Program. Implementation will be strategic and initially focused on the City’s utilities.

The hiring range for this position is: $8,536.16 - $10,400.48 monthly (DOQ).

Benefits and Additional Compensation:

Employer contributions to the State Retirement System pension plan; 15 days of paid vacation per year front loaded and pro-rated based on hire date (increases to a maximum of 25 days per year after five years); 11 paid holidays per year; one paid floating holiday of your choice per year; 12 days of paid sick leave; 4% deferred compensation ($170.72 - $208.01 semi-monthly) in addition to salary; wellness program; employee assistance program; and medical, dental and vision coverage.
