Position Overview
Shunpike seeks a Program Coordinator to manage event logistics, provide administrative support for the Programs team, and coordinate the ViewPoints rewards program. This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes—ensuring details are covered, communications flow smoothly, and artists and community partners feel supported and empowered. As a vital member of the Programs team, you’ll help manage artist talks and administrative systems that drive Shunpike’s mission. Your day-to-day may range from managing contracts to assisting at public events, supporting both the creative process and the infrastructure behind it.
Key Responsibilities
● Viewpoints Program Support ○ Coordinate communications, contracts, and logistics for the ViewPoints rewards app. ○ Serve as the main point of contact for ViewPoints location partners and sponsors, balancing responsiveness with clarity around deadlines and expectations. ○ Ensure program operations align with Shunpike’s values of equity, representation, and access.
● Event & Public Program Coordination ○ Plan and support events including artist talks, concerts, tours, and workshops. ○ Oversee scheduling, vendor coordination, and day-of logistics. ○ Support on-site event execution, including setup and takedown.
● Administrative Support ○ Maintain programs team calendar, shared drives, and program documentation. ○ Assist with budget tracking, payments, and data collection for grants and reports. ○ Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
● Community & Artist Engagement ○ Communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders. ○ Support outreach efforts, artist calls, and community engagement activities. ○ Respond to program inquiries and help people access resources.
Who You Are
● You have 2+ years of experience in event planning, administrative support, or logistics coordination. ● You are highly organized, love managing details, and thrive in a behind-the-scenes role. ● You communicate clearly and respectfully, keeping others informed and aligned. ● You value equity and inclusion, and show up with empathy and cultural awareness. ● You can juggle multiple timelines and tasks while staying focused and responsive. ● You’re comfortable with budgets, scheduling, and documentation, and take pride in doing things thoroughly and accurately. ● You’re flexible and calm under pressure, with a can-do attitude. ● You can lift up to 50 lbs, work indoors and outdoors, have a valid driver's license, and have access to reliable transportation to travel around the city. ● You’re proficient with Google Suite, Excel, and Word, and open to learning new systems and tools.

Employment Status: Full-time (40 hrs/week), Exempt. Core hours are 10 am – 6 pm, Monday-Friday, with requests for flexible hours considered. Some weekend and evening work is required.
Compensation: $69,000-$73,000 per annum DOE; ORCA Card (alt. WFH stipend); 401k w/employer match; Health benefits including vision and dental; 18 vacation days, sick time, and 9 paid holidays.
