The City of Bremerton is seeking to fill one vacant position and establish an eligible register for the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Industrial Mechanic. The current vacancy is in the City’s Public Works & Utilities Department – Wastewater Treatment Plant. Once established, this register is valid for one (1) year and future open positions will be filled using this register.

General Function: Under direction, performs skilled work in the preventative maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, removal, and installation of equipment and facilities at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, lift stations and odor control stations.
The hiring range for this position is: $31.41 - $38.45 per hour (DOQ). This salary reflects 2024 rates and includes longevity (1% earned after five years and increases to a maximum of 4% after 20 years).
