POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a R56 Program Manager and Auditor Advisor who will be tasked with overseeing the implementation and adherence to the R56 Standards for telecommunications site installations, ensuring compliance with the industry’s best practices. This role involves managing the R56 certification program, advising on auditing processes, and providing expert guidance to ensure all sites meet R56 standards. The individual will also serve as a key advisor on complex audit issues and provide strategic direction to enhance the quality and efficiency of R56 audits.

Auditing Compliance: Conduct audits to ensure that construction, installation, and maintenance activities of wireless communication sites and equipment comply with R56 standards.
Documentation Review: Review technical documentation, engineering drawings, and specifications to verify adherence to R56 requirements.
Site Inspections: Perform on-site inspections to assess physical infrastructure, equipment installation, grounding, and safety practices.
Reporting: Prepare audit reports detailing findings, non-conformities, and recommendations for corrective actions.
Communication: Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and site personnel to address compliance issues and improve processes. Effectively communicating the value of Commdex products or services will be crucial in achieving sales targets and expanding our customer base.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Program Management: Lead and manage the R56 compliance program, including planning, execution, and
oversight ofall R56-related activities.
Audit Advisory: Provide expert advice and guidance on R56 auditing processes, including pre-audit planning,
site inspections, and post-audit reporting.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure all telecommunications sites meet the R56 Standards by coordinating regular audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for internal and external teams on R56 standards and best practices, ensuring that all stakeholders are up to date on the latest requirements.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of R56 compliance and audit processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external auditors to ensure a clear understandingof R56 requirements and expectations.
Documentation and Reporting: Oversee the preparation of detailed audit reports, compliance documentation, and any necessary corrective action plans, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the R56 program and audit processes, recommending and implementing changes as needed to enhance overall compliance.
Technical Expertise: Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to R56 standards and telecommunications site installation practices.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with non-compliance to R56 standards, ensuring all installations meet safety and operational requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of a demonstrated record of independently closing multiple large-sized opportunities and developing deep customer relationships.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people from various backgrounds and build relationships based on trust and credibility.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey the value of our products or services to potential clients.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of organization.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to exceed sales targets and achieve success.
Willingness to travel (up to 50%) as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Strong business acumen and a quick learner, with the ability to understand complex products or services and articulate their value proposition to clients.
DESIRED:
Familiarity with SalesForce software and sales tools to track activities, manage leads, and generate reports.
Understanding of Public Safety Radio systems is preferred. Understanding of Public Safety
Communications Systems, including familiarity with technologies such as land mobile radio (LMR),
Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), wireless broadband (5g), and interoperability solutions.
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections and turn prospects into loyal customers.
