Under close supervision, performs manual work and operates hand tools and small equipment to support staff in installing and maintaining the water, wastewater, stormwater systems, and facility property and equipment.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES
Positions in the Utilities Service Specialist Trainee classification are distinguished by the performance of manual work under direct supervision and with on-going training in tool use as well as equipment and vehicle operation.
The hiring range for this position is: $26.77 - $32.67 per hour (DOQ). This salary includes longevity (1% earned after five years and increases to a maximum of 4% after 20 years).
