The City of Bremerton is seeking to fill one vacant position of Civil Engineer II - Development. Once established, this register is valid for one (1) year and future open positions will be filled using this register.

Under direction of the Managing Engineer, responsible for development plan review and approval of water, wastewater, stormwater and transportation improvements both in the right-of way and on private property. Duties include plan review, review of technical design calculations and reports, evaluating utilities service availability, field review of site conditions, technical inspection of improvements, and evaluating project transportation impacts, and ADA compliance. Communicating both through written correspondence and verbally, in a clear and concise manner to the applicant and or the applicants engineer.
The hiring range for this position is: $43.62 - $53.50 per hour (DOQ). This salary includes longevity (1% earned after five years and increases to a maximum of 4% after 20 years). Additionally, this position is eligible for a hiring bonus of up to $5,000.00
